Located in the North Houston metro area of Texas, we serve 1,400 square miles in Harris and Montgomery Counties.
Our student enrollment is nearly 50,000 in credit classes and 14,000 in continuing education.

The 2008-2009 tax rate is 11.01 cents per $100 valuation. The first $5,000 or 1% of appraised value, whichever is greater, of owned and occupied residential property is exempt. Also exempt: the first $75,000 of a resident property owned and occupied by a person over 65 years old. The amount of taxes paid for the 2006 tax year are frozen for all future years for resisdent property owners and occupied by a person over 65 years or who is disabled.
