Electricity, Magnetism, & Light (PHYS 2426)

Course Catalog Description:
This course is a continuation of PHYS 2425, including the study of electrostatics, Gauss’s law, circuit theory, magnetism and Faraday’s law, electromagnetic waves and Maxwell’s equations, geometric and physical optics, and introduction to modern physics. It includes an appropriate laboratory program illustrating the principles learned in lecture. This course is primarily for physical science and engineering majors.

Some homework assignments will include problems that must be completed on-line. These problems can be found from the PHYS 2426 Vista site. Log on to Vista and enter the PHYS 2426 class to find those assigned problems.
