Transfer to University
Will I be able to transfer to a four-year university?
Currently, articulations are being sought with four-year institutions so that the AAS in Land Surveying & Mapping Technology will transfer into specific bachelor’s degree/s.
What if I already have a four-year degree, but it is not in surveying?
Options are available for individuals with a bachelors’ degree to receive 32 hrs of surveying related courses and with appropriate work experience, sit for the surveyor-in-training exam to become a licensed SIT (Surveyor-in-Training). After becoming a SIT and with additional work experience, then the individual is ready to sit for the exam for the Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS).
