I have missed registration for the semester. Can I still register for classes?

Can I drop a class by phone?
Yes, we can be reached at 936-273-7446 (Lone Star College-Montgomery Campus) or 936-271-6000 (Lone Star College-Conroe Center). However, drop requests must be received at least one business day prior to the first day of class. Drops can also be submitted by fax, mail, or in person after printing and completing this drop form (this needs to link to the drop form). Be sure to provide a valid phone number where you can be contacted if we have any questions.

How do I request a refund on a class I didn't start?
Students must officially drop a course at least 1 business day prior to the start of the class in order to receive a refund. Failing to do so will result in loss of tuition fees.
I attended the first week of the semester, but I have to withdraw due to personal problems. Can I have a tuition refund?
No. However, if you are faced with unforeseen and sudden emergency situations that may prevent you from completing your class, you may submit an appeal for emergency refunds to the Department Dean. Put your request in writing and provide documentation of your emergency to the CE admissions office. Your appeal will be reviewed and this process normally takes a week or two before you will hear the outcome of your appeal
Where do I start if I have previously registered at any Lone Star College System college?
You can log in to MyRecords (Stargazer) and click on the link Register and Pay for Continuing Education Courses. Select courses and you will be prompted to submit payment by credit card on our secure site. An email notification of the successful course registration will be sent.
I received a message box that states that I am not recognized. What does this mean?
If the system does not recognize you, there may be discrepancies in your information on file. Try typing in a previous name or address to help the system locate your records. Be aware that no changes can be made online. Contact the Continuing Education Office to provide the correct information.
What if I have used MyRecords (StarGazer) but have forgotten my ID and/or password?
You can get your ID and password by clicking on the link "Get ID and Password" located under the Help heading. You will be asked to create another password. It must be 6 to 9 characters in length using both numbers and letters. Your new password can not be the same as your last three passwords.
Why did the system log me out?
The system logs you out after 5 minutes of inactivity. This is a security measure. Simply log back in and proceed.
I need verification of enrollment for my insurance. When can I request one?
Verifications are available upon request after the official day of record of a given semester.
Where do I get textbooks?
For Lone Star College-Montgomery. The bookstore is in building A, which is located in the back of the college. Book and materials can also be purchased in the same building.
