Earning Honors Credit

There are two ways a student can receive Honors credit for a course at LSC - Montgomery . A student can take an Honors course and receive a grade of "B" or better. Alternatively, a student can contract for Honors credit in a regular course. To earn Honors credit in this manner, the student and a professor agree to work together throughout the semester to complete an Honors project. This is usually done as a type of research project aimed at going beyond the material presented in the course. Completing a contract offers students an opportunity to work closely with professors on projects of mutual interest for Honors credit.
