Professional:

Gregory Ristow is Director of Choirs and Assistant Professor of Music at Lone Star College–Montgomery. Prior to this he taught Ear Training on the theory faculty at the Eastman School of Music. He regularly directs the Eastman Summer Dalcroze Institute and serves on the faculty of the Eastman Choral Institute, as well as the choral faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, Michigan.

He has conducted concerts with the Eastman Repertory Singers, Gregory Kunde Chorale, and World Youth Honor Choir at Interlochen, as well as recordings of new compositions with the Eastman Chorale. Director, Eastman Summer Dalcroze Institute (2004-). Faculty, Eastman Choral Institute (2004-). Associate conductor, Gregory Kunde Chorale (2001-2004). Instructor of Aural Skills, Eastman School of Music (2001-2004). Workshops in vocal pedagogy for sight singing & aural skills teachers. Active as a clinician in choral conducting, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and sight singing & ear training pedagogy.

Choral conducting studies with William Weinert, Hugh Floyd, and Michael Slon. Orchestral conducting studies with Paul Polivnick and Neil Varon. Piano with Lydia Frumkin, voice with Richard Anderson.
