Mission Statement

The Lone Star College System LSC-Online Council (DLC) is chaired by the District Director for LSC-Online with standing membership held by each college's LSC-Online coordinator. Typically, the college's LSC-Online committee chairperson is also the college's LSC-Online coordinator. However, when they are differing individuals, the commitee chairperson also serves on the DLC. Three additional members from each college are appointed by their instructional vice-presidents with these members serving staggered, two-year terms. The DLC works with the Colleges' LSC-Online Committees and Instructional Deans to help assure the delivery of LSC-Online programs and services that meet the needs of faculty and students. The DLC membership is distributed to represent: Faculty, Continuing Education, Student Services, Academic Support Centers/Libraries, IT Deans, and Instructional Deans.
