Mission Statement

We believe in equal access to educational opportunities for all individuals. Therefore, we endeavor to create, promote, and maintain an environment where individuals with disabilities have access to educational opportunities with minimal adaptations. We will do this by:

   • promoting accessibility and utilizing principles of Universal Design;
   • providing exemplary service;
• establishing accountability by maintaining cost-efficient and effective services;
   • developing an institutional culture of acceptance and shared ownership; and
• changing and adapting as indicated by developments in the field of disability and
      higher education and/or Lone Star College System policy.
