Transcript Follow-up

I’ve submitted my transcript request. What happens now?
For Students Requesting a Transcript in Person
  • Indicate the full address of where the transcript is to be sent and if you want the transcript to be sent or picked up.
  • Keep the yellow copy of the transcript request for your records.
  • Your transcripts will be mailed or sent electronically to the address listed on the transcript request.
For Students Requesting Transcripts Via Fax
  • Give your name, social security number, and the address where the transcript is to be sent. Transcripts requested by fax can be sent to a home address or colleges; include name, address, phone number, and social security number. If sending to a college, include the mailing information for that institution. Requests must be signed and dated.
  • Your transcripts will be mailed or sent electronically to the address listed on the transcript request. Please indicate the full address of where the transcript is to be sent.
For Students Requesting Transcripts Via the Web
  •  Once the request has been made, you will receive a response by e-mail.
Students Picking up Transcripts
  • The student needs to go to the college’s designated area to pick up their transcript. They need to show their Driver’s license for proof of ID. Transcripts need to be kept in the sealed envelope in order for them to be considered official.
Contact your college of choice for information on the specific location to pick up your official transcript.
Someone Other Than the Student Picking up the Transcript
  • The student must provide written permission for that individual to pick up their transcript, either by fax or in person. The person picking up the transcript needs to show their Driver’s license for ID purposes.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to follow up with the receiving institution to confirm that the transcript has been received.
  • All holds/restrictions on a student’s record must be cleared before a transcript can be sent.
  • The turnaround time for transcripts may be up to 1 week during peak registration or the end of the semester, when grades are being processed.
