Alizarin crimson, rose madder (or permanent rose), aureolin, burnt sienna, raw sienna (or yellow ochre), quinachridone gold (or Indian yellow), scarlet lake, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, pthalo blue, sap green, white gouache paint, waterproof ink (or black acrylic paint)
OTHER SUPPLIES
White palette with large mixing area with at least 10 wells 1 inch or larger (each), drafting tape or repositionable masking tape, masking fluid, large water container, straight edge, paper for sketching, pencil and eraser, spray bottle, old cotton T-shirt or soft papern towels, waterproof board for mounting your painting, or buy paper in blocks (preferred), Cotman or Arches cold-pressed paper 2 sheets 22 x 30" or a watercolor block 16 x 20 or larger, 1 small natural sponge

The following are suggestions. If you have materials from previous classes or from your own experiences, bring them. The room does not have easels. I have a few table-top easels, but not enough for everyone. So bring an easel if you have one.

Supplies may be purchased at Jerry's Artarama, Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Sometimes a kit will include most of the necessary materials at a better price-I saw a pencil set withsharpener, erasers, sanding block for under $3 at Wal-Mart.
