HTI for Homeowners

Would you like your home theater, home security system, air conditioning and internet to link up to one remote?
Do you like to do it yourself and have people think you hired a professional?
Then consider taking a weekend course on how to install and configure your own ‘smart home' system from Lone Star College-Montgomery.
Home Technology Integration(HTI) is one of the newest high-tech offerings at Lone Star College-Montgomery. HTI for Homeowners is a collection of quick, non-credit courses which provide the average homeowner with the skills necessary to set up and install their home technology.
Students will get hands on experience in our dedicated HTI Lab, where they will work in a mock-up home to set up the wiring and networking common to a ‘Smart Home'. Our lab includes a flat screen television, surround sound, home security system, air conditioning control wiring, and more.
The HTI for Homeowners program is geared towards enhancing the skills of those wishing to learn how the professionals do it.
