Open to All Students
Our programs are open to all students – college credit, leisure, and professionals- interested in exploring new places, learning through experience, and meeting people from around the world. Travel itineraries for Summer 2009 trips have not been developed. Please check back periodically for Summer Study Abroad 2009 Information.
Travel for College Credit
Study Abroad award credits that will apply towards your degree and that are transferable to higher education institutions in the home country for completion of academic coursework. Courses offered for credit Summer 2008 are ITAL 1411, ENGL 1302, SPAN 1411 or SPAN 1412, ENGL 2322 (British Literature) and ENGL 2341/2342 (Shakespeare).
Travel for Leisure
If you would like to attend just for fun, we have a spot for you. Our leisure travelers are from all walks of life – students, teachers, active older adults, businessmen, individuals and couples- that enjoy a well-planned group travel experience offered through LSC-Montgomery without receiving college credit. You will meet on campus for an orientation prior to departure. Although you will still pay the program cost, you will not need to pay credit tuition as leisure traveler.
