Art Appreciation Hybrid & LSC-Online for Fall 2008

These are introductory art courses that study the visual arts (painting, sculpture, crafts, photography, etc.) through an exploration of their purposes and processes. It examines art techniques integrating history and showing examples from many different cultures. You will learn to respond to art by recognizing artists, cultures, time periods and recognizing unique works of art considered as ”masterpieces”.
- ARTS 1301.49001--Hybrid e-learning class mixing class time with online assignments. Class begins as late start at 6pm on 23 September. We will meet as a class every two weeks to discuss material and most of your assignments are on the web. The first class attendance is mandatory to remain in the class.
- ARTS 1301.4W006--Distancelearning class beginning on 25 August in which all assignments are done online. It will require you to select a Lone Star testing facility to proctor online exams. There is no orientation class requirement.
