Testing Center

The Testing Center provides secure, proctored testing for the following kinds of tests: academic course tests, make-up tests, placement or assessment tests, LSC-Online (DL) tests, and correspondence tests.

The following testing activities take place in the Testing Center in Building C, Room C-208:

COMPASS, THEA, ASSET
Lone Star College-Montgomery is offering the COMPASS test as the alternate to THEA. COMPASS is a computerized placement test covering reading, writing and math skills.

Special Needs Testing
Tests are modified and adapted for students with disabilities.

Placement Testing
State law requires that all students be assessed before enrolling in college.

Correspondence Testing
The Lone Star College-Montgomery Testing Center offers proctoring for correspondence testing for a fee of $25.00 per test.
