Speech classes include introduction to speech, interpersonal communication, public speaking, business speech, oral interpretation and debate. Students use technology to do research and prepare presentations.

Public Speaking

This course is a combination of online and face to face (f2f) meetings. Having speech experience will help you in this course as it does require the researching, writing and delivery of 4 speeches. The classes will meet from 6-8:30 on Monday evenings in the Fall. The orientation is mandatory and students who miss this date will not be allowed to continue with the course. It is expected that if you choose to take this course you will make it a priority to attend the 6 classes that will be held. For more information about the assignments please see the attached syllabus.
