Macy Perrone originally from “small town” Utah, is enjoying her first year in Houston. She is a graduate of Utah State University where she received a BS in Apparel and Textiles and a MFA in Costume Design. Her recent designs include The Shape of Things at Lone Star College–Montgomery, The Comedy of Errors, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Two by Two, and Dames at Sea. When not designing, she spends most of her time at the Houston Grand Opera where she is employed in the costume shop. Beginning fall 2007, Ms. Perrone will teach Introduction to Costume, a class that introduces students to principles and techniques of costume design and construction for the theatre. She is excited to be working with Lone Star College–Montgomery and looks forward to many future projects.
